Our Instructors
Our bodies hold onto unprocessed emotions and store them in our fascia. The fascia, explained in the most simplistic way, is a fluid mesh that surrounds all of our organs and muscles. It is a vast network of connective tissue with nerve endings, pain receptors, and it conducts energy.
The fascia acts as a lubricant—so muscles can fully contract without friction. When the fascia is constricted—not moving—you hold onto unprocessed emotions and feel "pain".
The fascia is considered a sensory organ and it plays a big part in how we regulate our emotions.
Through countless hours of working with clients, I have witnessed how the processing of emotions that arise during a session releases the pain or restricted movement that was held in their body.
